School Social Work Journal is a refereed publication intended primarily for school social work students and educators and practitioners in the public schools. Articles in the Journal are directly related to the improvement of social work practice in the schools. These articles report original research, integrative and comprehensive reviews, conceptual and practical positions, effective assessment and intervention methodologies, and model service delivery programs. The journal is published twice a year, in May and November, by the Illinois Association of School Social Workers. The electronic subscription rate is $30.00 per year for individuals and $90.00 for libraries and institutions. The print plus electronic subscription rate is $45.00 per year for individuals and $105.00 for libraries and institutions . There is a $20.00 fee for all foreign postage. Two professional organizations that assist school social workers are the Illinois Association of School Social Workers and the School Social Workers Association of America. Both provide membership benefits, including reduced rates on the School Social Work Journal.
